China delegates here to celebrate helen wong’s tours 25th anniversary – e
A delegation of China travel specialists will converge on Australia this month to join in the excitement and colour of Helen Wong’s Tours 25th anniversary celebrations.
Ten managers from travel services in nine different regions will arrive to take part in Helen Wong’s Mega Trivia Challenge which will pit teams from such major retail chains as Flight Centre, Escape Travel, Harvey World Travel, Travelscene American Express, Jetset, Travel Partners, Travel Managers, Magellan, Travel World and Travel Associates.
Independent retailers have also been invited to form tables along with media.
The thrill-a-minute trivia challenge will take place at Sydney’s Sky Phoenix Restaurant on the evening of Wednesday, March 21, and carry a host of travel prizes, including 25 trips to China and Vietnam.
There will also be a number of exciting activities prior to the challenge and an imperial-style eight-course banquet.
“Whether the competitors are on the winner’s table or not, everyone who attends will be in the running to win one of 25 familiarisations to China and Vietnam at the end of the evening,” said Ms Wong who began packaging tours from Australians to China in 1987.
“It promises to be a fun-filled night, one of a number of events we plan to hold throughout the year during our silver anniversary,” she said.
“Along with the contestants there will be a strong delegation from China, tourism representatives from various provinces and regions throughout the country.”
